Weekly
Newsletter
Welcome to the Blue Angel Weekly. This is a combination of Mrs. DosSantos' weekly emails and the weekly update all in one!
We will add each new weekly newsletter here, but you can also refer back to any of the older issues if needed.
I hope everyone is enjoying the summer! It is hard to believe we are in the middle of July already!
Please be sure that you have checked the website for your child's summer Reading and Math assignments (rising 1st-8th graders) and supply lists. More information about summer assignments and supplies can be found below.
Please check your emails for the updated Parent/Student Handbook and Code of Conduct. All families need to sign and return the acknowledgment page from these documents to the school email: palmercatholic@pcapvb.org. (Email with the documents was sent on Saturday.)
Scholarship families: If you have not signed up for a MANDATORY meeting, please do so ASAP using the Sign-Up Genius below. Meetings are only 15 minutes each due to the large number of families who we need ot meet with prior to the start of school. ALL SCHOLARSHIP FAMILIES MUST ATTEND A MEETING PRIOR TO THE START OF SCHOOL AS PER THE STATE SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES.
Only one parent needs to attend the meeting and students do not need to attend.
I hope this newsletter finds you enjoying your summer!

You may have noticed the officer on campus this morning. As you know I have been working with the SJCSO, Monsignor Brennan, and the Diocese to have additional protection for our school. Until we can determine if we can have a full-time officer assigned to our campus, we will have off-duty officers covering as often as possible. We are grateful for this opportunity.
Our middle school students will be going on their end-of-the-year field trips on Thursday. Please keep them in your prayers as they travel to Orlando.
Welcome back! I hope everyone had a beautiful Easter and enjoyed a nice, relaxing break!
Before break, we had our Schoolwide Student Retreat! Students prepared for Easter by attending Adoration, walking the Stations of the Cross, and saying the Rosary. Younger students paired up with an older prayer buddy to make prayer rocks and write a prayer. Students also wrote letters to our seminarians and competed in a Catholic Faith Trivia game.
