Welcome to the Blue Angel Weekly. This is a combination of Mrs. DosSantos' weekly emails and the weekly update all in one!
We will add each new weekly newsletter here, but you can also refer back to any of the older issues if needed.
Our 5th and 8th graders will be taking the ACRE (Assessment of Children/Youth Religious Education) test on Thursday morning.
We are looking forward to seeing you all at the Angel Ball on Friday evening at the Sawgrass Marriott! It is going to be a great fundraising party! We hope you will join us! Tickets are still available! Please see below for details.
We are officially in the 4th quarter of the school year! Let's finish strong, Blue Angels!
It's TPC Week! We will have early release on Thursday with Angels until 3:30. There is no school on Friday for staff and students. Monday is a Professional Day for teachers and staff and no school for students.
Please note: We will have our Children's Mass tomorrow for Ash Wednesday at 9:40 AM. Parents are always welcome to attend!
Thank you to everyone who attended the Bishop's Mass last week! It was a beautiful celebration!
As a reminder, Thursday is an Early Release Day and there is no school for students on Friday or Monday. Teachers and staff will have a Professional Day on Friday.
Bishop Pohlmeier will be celebrating our PCA Children's Mass tomorrow, February 7th. All students are expected to be in their MANDATORY school uniform. No polo shorts or PE shirts should be worn tomorrow. White shirts only. Students will not be wearing sweatshirts or sweaters to Mass.
All parents are welcome to attend, but seating is limited. Mass begins at 9:40 AM.
Happy Catholic Schools Week and happy 100th day of school! Thank you to everyone who attended the 9 AM Mass yesterday to kick off Catholic Schools Week! We have lots of fun planned this week to celebrate!

Happy New Year to all! We are praying for a healthy and safe 2023! On behalf of Mrs. Earp and all the staff at PCA, I want to thank you for your generosity towards us for Christmas! We are so thankful!
Please note that this Friday is Early Staggered Release, and there is no school on Monday, January 16th.
Thank you to Mrs. Urso for an amazing Christmas program! It was a beautiful evening celebrating the true meaning of Christmas!

Students in grade PreK-5 will perform in their annual Christmas program on December 15th, 2022. The performance will be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church at 5:00 p.m.
We hope you enjoyed the weekend! As a reminder, this week our Children's Mass has been changed to Thursday since it is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Mass will starts at 9:40 AM.
We hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving! As a reminder there are only 17 days left in the 2nd quarter of school. Please be sure to check Renweb (grades 3-8) for your child's progress this quarter. If you have any questions or concerns, please be sure to reach out to your child's teacher.

We hope you enjoyed the extra hour of sleep this weekend! We have another short week ahead!
On Wednesday, we will have our Student Council Executive Board elections. Students in grades 3-8 will be voting after hearing speeches from all the candidates. We have middle school students running for President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.
Next week we will have our Good News Book Fair! Students will be attending the Book Fair during their STREAM class next week (November 14-18). More information to come!
We hope you all enjoyed the long weekend! Our second graders had their Reconciliation retreat this weekend. Please continue to keep them in your prayers as they make their sacraments this school year.
What a great Fall Festival!! It was so nice to see so many families participate! A huge thank you to HSA for all their hard work in preparing this fun event!

It was so nice to see so many families at the Walking Rosary yesterday! Our Blue Angels did a beautiful job leading the Rosary! Thank you to Mrs. Begeman for organizing this event and to all our staff who were part of the event!

Happy Fall! We are carefully monitoring Tropical Storm Ian as it makes it way towards Florida. Please note that the Diocese of St. Augustine does not follow the County closures. You can check the Diocesan website (www.dosaeducation.org) for school closures. We will keep you posted via email and parent text alerts about any possible school closures or delays.

Grades PK-2 will focus on St. Martha.

Grades 6-8 will focus on St. Augustine.
Don't forget to look for and complete the Home Projects with your child!

There will be no school on Monday, September 5th, in observance of Labor Day.

Thank you to all the parents who attended our first Mass of the school year. Our Children's Mass will be celebrated every Tuesday at 9:40 AM. All parents are welcome to attend. We will have designated seating for parents in the back of the gym on the chairs. Please arrive by 9:35 AM so you can be seated prior to the start of Mass. Please enter and sign-in through the gym doors. Please note: PK and Kindergarten classes do not start attending Mass until January, as they are still acclimating to the school environment.
